How do you work out cost per capsule?
Divide the total you pay by the number of capsules you receive. Then divide again by capsules per day to get a daily cost.
Stand in the supplement aisle with two bottles. One has 60 capsules, the other 120. The bigger bottle may cost more on the shelf and less per capsule. Only the division tells you.
Total price

Divide

What can make a cost comparison misleading?
Capsule count is only one input. Check what a capsule actually holds.
- Different doses. A capsule with a larger amount of an ingredient is not comparable to a smaller one.
- Different daily doses. Two capsules a day on one label, four on another, doubles the daily cost.
